Respiratory Physiotherapist

Emma qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Coventry University in 1995 and has specialised in Respiratory Physiotherapy since 1999. She has extensive experience working with acutely ill respiratory patients within a hospital setting and also patients with chronic chest conditions in the community.

She is a member of The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care. Her areas of special interest include management of chronic respiratory conditions, such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Bronchiectasis, Hyperventilation and abnormal breathing patterns.

Emma currently works for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust as a Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist. She is a Clinical Educator for undergraduate physiotherapy students and shares the responsibility for teaching qualified physiotherapists in Respiratory Physiotherapy skills across the Trust.
