Neurological Physiotherapist

Jo qualified from University in 2008, where she was presented with The Scott Cup Award for Care and Compassion. Her commitment towards person-centred care continues to be at the forefront of her approach.

She began her career working for the NHS at Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals, gaining experiences on the acute stroke unit, neurological and musculoskeletal outpatients, medical and respiratory wards. Jo went on to gain a senior post working in Community Rehabilitation where her focus on neurological physiotherapy began to grow. During this time Jo trained in Clinical Pilates and currently teaches beginner, intermediate and runners classes incorporating a human movement approach.

Currently Jo works for Therapy Fusion and for a specialist care centre in Leamington Spa supporting adults with neurological disorders. Jo enjoys keeping up-to-date with current practices helping those with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis and other neurological disorders to achieve their goals.

In her spare time she enjoys yoga, meditation, art and supporting her husband as a published poet/writer. She is registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Healthcare Professions Council.
