Chartered Physiotherapist
Specialist in Women’s Health, Continence
& Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Rachel qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Bristol Royal Infirmary in 1975. She has extensive experience as a physiotherapist and has specialised in women’s health and pelvic floor dysfunction since 1999. She has recently completed six years as a national executive member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health.

Rachel is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, Chartered Physiotherapists Promoting Continence and the International Continence Society.

Rachel has taught as an external lecturer to both physiotherapy and midwifery undergraduates, and she has lectured widely to other health professionals. She also gives educational talks to both men’s and women’s groups.

Rachel currently works at Warwick Hospital where she is a member of a national award winning multidisciplinary Integrated Continence Team. She works closely with her consultant colleagues and is involved with new treatment initiatives and service improvement. A recent project has been presented both nationally and internationally.
